A certified Level 3 Essentrics instructor, I am following my true passion for helping others through health and fitness. I have a Bachelor of Commerce Business Degree from the University of Manitoba and previously worked in the corporate world for over 10 years. Sales, marketing and account management were very rewarding and challenging for me; however with increasing stress on my body, I found myself looking for more in this life.
I was lucky to find Essentrics through a local instructor in my hometown of Winnipeg, Canada in 2015. I immediately loved the workout; it improved my posture, relieved chronic back and shoulder pain, strengthened my muscles and toned them. I had always been interested in health & fitness, especially in my younger years, but Essentrics is completely different from anything else I have tried. I appreciate that the workout is low impact, safe, full body, and that I actually want to exercise. I love my workouts!
I was looking for a career change and have always wanted to run my own business, so becoming an Essentrics instructor seemed like a great decision. I can now focus on my own health and wellness, but more importantly, I hope to help change others' lives through this fantastic fitness program, and motivate them to truly experience what it feels like to be healthy, happy, and live actively.
My plans include taking additional Essentrics courses to supplement my existing certification (reach Level 4 certification), studies in anatomy and physiology, opening my own studio one day, working with professional athletes, and inspiring ALL generations to always keep moving.
